The Pias Group takes corporate citizenship seriously, aware of its responsibility to contribute to the betterment of society. The array of our products that enhance living is just one way of doing that. We also promote corporate citizenship activities that aim to achieve an environment essential for promoting research, and to enhance the quality of life for people who suffer from skin problems.
Established to promote the development of the sciences of dermatology and plastic surgery, the Lydia O'Leary Memorial Foundation is an organization that supports research programs. The organization grants subsidies for worthy research projects from basic to clinical studies, and also offers scholarships for researchers to study abroad. It confers the Yasuda-Sakamoto Award on researchers who have made outstanding contributions to the progress of dermatological treatment and dermatological science, and bestows the Makoto Seiji Award for outstanding research on melanin pigment studies. Through its extensive support, the Foundation contributes to cultivating talented researchers and creating research environments that motivate scientific discoveries.
